Climate Action Planning - Community Page
Short-Term Commitment: Long-Term Impact
We’ll be holding community meetings starting in September 2011 and culminating with an implementation kick-off in September 2012. This is your chance to make a difference in your community!
Citizen taskforces will help set goals, identify local opportunities, refine strategies and convene community stakeholders. Public meetings will invite broad citizen feedback on goals, strategies and the plan itself. These Climate Action Plans will lay the groundwork for other cities in metro Detroit to engage their citizens in creating a sustainable future and make the region a leader in green living, technology and jobs.
We'd love for you to join us in person and you can continue the discussion online! Come share your own ideas and respond to proposed strategies from other community members at climateplan.uservoice.com.
